Gannon Shaffer is a photographer and visual artist from Fort Worth, Texas. His practice is more often than not a reflection on his surroundings and the way that the world influences his thoughts and emotions. Though not strictly documentative, his photographic work showcases reality in a brutally honest and significantly personal fashion. Common themes in his work include shame, mental anguish, loneliness, and estrangement from oneself. Currently, Gannon is a student at The College of Visual Arts and Design working towards his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art.
